The Parlor's 2nd Annual Emerging Writer's Festival. And the Pete Anderson.

Look we know that The Parlor's 2nd Annual Emerging Writer's Festival which is being held on Saturday, May 23rd directly conflicts with the Pilcrow Lit Fest, and let us be the first to say that this is way unfortunate, but we still want to hype it, because not only is it a wonderful event run by wonderful people in a wonderful venue, and not only are we still thrilled to have participated in a Parlor podcast ourselves, but this year's festival will highlight among others This Zine Will Change Your Life's very own assistant flunky Pete Anderson who we are unabashedly enormous fans of. So, there you go, you know about it, and you should go, and you should somehow do so while also checking out the Pilcrow. How you do this is not entirely clear to us, but we know you will figure it out bcause we believe in you. Big time.

Skinny Legs and All. This Podcast Will Change Your Life, Amy Guth, the Pilcrow Lit Fest and So New publishing.

Check it out, the 2009 Pilcrow Lit Fest is so coming soon, and we are so geeked to be paneling and podcasting there again this year, that we thought, why not do a podcast with Pilcrow literary queen, killer writer, and good friend, the Amy Guth, so she can so hype it. So we did. And so, without further adieu, we present This Podcast Will Change Your Life, Episode Sixteen - Skinny Legs and All, where we talk with Ms. Guth about this year's Pilcrow, her new role at So New media, and her favorite all-time book, which we will not reveal here, though we fully admit that this episode's title may be a tip-off of sorts.

It's true, the quite awesome Pilcrow Lit Fest will be back from May 17-23 and from what we understand it is going to be huge, like Ringling Brothers or Suge Knight huge, which is, pretty huge. So, please check it out, plan to come to the fest and you know, be huge.
