You're so VAIN. Yes we are.

We are quite pleased to announce that This Zine Will Change Your Life has won VAIN magazine's spring "zine fest" contest and in doing so not only are two of TZWCYL 's contributors, Corey Mesler and J.A. Tyler, being featured in VAIN's summer 2008 issue, which is out now, hand-made, and sweet, but air traffic controller Ben Tanzer has been invited to serve as a guest editor for the fall 2008 issue. Pretty, pretty cool. Many thanks to VAIN and many congratulations to our writers and the whole crew at TZWCYL, it's definitely a group effort and you guys all rock it.

Considering that none of the stories I've read so far in my new position of Assistant Flunky has been published so far, I'm really not entitled to any credit, but I'm more than willing to glide along on your estimable coattails.

Very cool, Ben. Many congrats indeed. I'll have to be sure to submit something. Again, this is badass news.

Many thanks for all of the love, we are quite thrilled about this. And now in no true particular order - to those of you who have already had something published in the zine, thanks for your contributions, to those with pieces on the upcoming publishing schedule, we're glad you can join us, to those of you who may still submit, please do, you know we love you all equally, and to Pete, dude, please feel free to free ride, you've totally earned it.
