CellStories CNN coolness.

Quite cool to see a big shout-out for the CellStories on CNN Tech today. They are highlighted in a piece on Summer reading via one's cellphone and even score a quote by founder Dan Sinker. To check TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer's story That's It on CellStories you may do so here and for some excerpt from the CNN piece please feel free to keep reading.

"This free publishing project by Dan Sinker features works in several genres by several authors -- with a fair amount of work that's offbeat or slightly bizarre. CellStories are specifically not available for computer-based reading; you can access the stories only from a phone.

Sinker explains: "Why would you want to read something amazing while sitting at a desk? Instead, grab a beer and sprawl out on the couch, or take your lunch break under a shady tree, and then read. Much better, right?"

CellStories.

Dan Sinker the founder of the now deceased, but always stellar Punk Planet has a new joint called CellStories that was highlighted in The Chicago Reader this week. He thinks that you want to read short stories on your iPhone, iPod Touch or similar mobile device. Or will anyway. And we think this could be quite cool. What do you think?
