"S.E. Hinton on crack." Lucky Man - The Anniversary Edition gets some much appreciated albeit gravitas-invoking quasi-backhanded complimentary Year in Books CCLaP love.
Truly appreciated that, and quite a fine list yo, not to mention possibly the single greatest Lucky Man blurbage since Willamette Week said it was "like a Rubik's Cube on acid." Word.

"The story is something of The Outsiders meets The Virgin Suicides." Lucky Man - The Anniversary Edition gets Gapers Block'd. And likes it. A lot.
Quite a lot frankly. And not just because the reviewer Melinda McIntire writes, "If you are looking for a happy, light read, this is not the book for you," though we do like that a lot as well. Meanwhile, big thanks to the McIntire for the kind words, and drinks on us for sure, and soon we think at that, yes, yes? Now how about some more excerpt? Cool.
"If you are looking for a happy, light read, this is not the book for you. This is depressing, told realistically and true to life. Tanzer's writing is witty and engaging, and all together, this is one worth reading."

We are Lucky Man - Anniversary Edition Largehearted Boy Book Notes.
And endlessly digging it yo. Big thanks to the Largehearted Boy and David Gutowski for the opportunity to Book Notes, not to mention all the ongoing support over the years; and drinks on us for sure, whenever and wherever we next cross paths. Now, how about some excerpt?
"There is looking back and then there is looking back on looking back. Which is to say that it is somehow the five-year anniversary of the release of my debut novel Lucky Man and I have this new anniversary edition coming out. The release is forcing me to look back, and I have an endless array of feelings associated with doing so, especially because it is Lucky Man, which like so many debut novels, involves looking back itself, to the people we once were, how we changed, what happened along the way, and the music we were listening to as it all went down."
