SEX AND DEATH is quite stellar blurb from the quite stellar Lauren Becker.

"In SEX AND DEATH, Ben Tanzer deftly illustrates the struggle between fidelity and desire in a uniquely sympathetic manner. His stories display an honest exploration of the governance of our sexual thoughts and deeds, as determined by natural urges and behaviors modeled to us in childhood."
--Lauren Becker, author of If I Would Leave Myself Behind

Wherein TBWCYl, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer talks writing, nostalgia, Billy Martin, and drinking, copiously, in his hometown of Binghamton, N.Y.

So true it is. We are Thirsty's and Spiedies and stellar lineup. We are also most appreciative that the Barry Graham, yes that Barry Graham, invited us to participate. Excerpt? Cool.

"And if you think about Binghamton writ large, you may know that Billy Martin died there in a drunk driving accident as well. A point which may not be a good stepping-off point to my suggestion that Binghamton belongs in any and all discussions about good places to drink. But Binghamton is also the 10th rainiest city in the United States, and if not for bars, what else would we do?"
