Lucas was filmed at my mom's high school, Glenbard West (in Glen Ellyn, IL). She agitated for the family to see it, especially after we had just seen My Bodyguard, which was filmed at my dad's high school, Lake View (in Chicago). Quite the esclating arms race of high school movies we had going there. Of the two, I better remember the plot of My Bodyguard, although Lucas did launch my onetime crush on Winona Ryder.

how sad. such a cute kid back in the day (Lucas and Lost Boys). what a shame that he couldnt overcome the drugs....
