Is Lucky Man one of the Best Books of the Decade: 2000s? Not exactly.

We were quite excited, and frankly quite humbled, to see that Lucky Man had been voted one of the Best Books of the Decade: 2000s by the fine members of the Goodreads nation. We were also thrilled to see that Lucky Man was 527 out of 818 books voted on, which ties us by the way with some much bigger books and authors including City of God by E.L. Doctorow and The Master by Colm Toibin, something that is also quite humbling, and even a little cool, you know. That said, we were somewhat taken aback to read that coming in at 527 only required receiving one vote. Still that doesn't mean we don't appreciate it, so Maria, thank you for your vote, and drinks on us whenever it is we get to meet.

I couldn't put it down either, but that's because I made the mistake of reading it while eating a sandwich, and had peanut butter all over my hands.

Awesome, because nothing makes us happier than our books receiving votes and reeking of peanut butter.
