Is this our Salman Rushdie moment?

We here at TBWCYL, Inc. headquarters learned today that Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine author and TBWCYL, Inc. spokesperson Ben Tanzer is under attack at SOAPCHAT.NET for denigrating Knots Landing in the pages and description of "Most Likely..." In fact, one SUNSHINEBOYUK not only titles his thread about the book "Satanic Book about Knots Landing hits the shelves...," but goes on to write "Let's try KNOT to put out death threats to the author..." KNOT, get it? The quote is followed by a smiley face, but to say we feel any safer because of that would be a misnomer. On the other hand, if all this sells more books, killer. We will keep you apprised.

Wow, if you don't get a soap-fan fatwa out of this, it might at least get your book banned. Either one will be great for sales, though the former might crimp your social life quite a bit. You might even have to do all your author appearances via closed circuit TV.

Now just send a few copies of the book to influential members of the Patrick Ewing Fan Club, and you'll be financially secure for retirement.

And as you know, we are all about sales here at TBWCYL, Inc., well that and ball-bearings.
