Lucky Man's Amazon ranking. Not sure how that happened, but that's a lot further from one million books preferred than it has been. By the way, is it further or farther?
We don't know how they do it, nor will they respond to our lawyer's requests for more information. Meanwhile, while it's bad enough we obsess over the rankings in general, the fact that they don't seem to track the traffic in used books what so ever really kills us. Okay, enough.

Farther relates to distance. Further relates to degree.
:)
Thank you, that helps a lot, though to be honest, we're still not sure whether to use farther or further here.
It'd be further, I believe.
Sweet, we got it. For now.
I'm with you on the Amazon rankings. It is an obsession. The worst part is the mystery of the criteria, how do they do it?
